Lina was the sun, he decided, in which everything gravitated around. Warm and nurturing, sharing her light without a second thought, yet dangerous to the touch.

Which made Gourry the moon, the sun's silent companion. Not as bright as the sun, but still bright enough to light the way on the dark clear nights. And by turn, to dim to see clearly as well.

Zelgadiss would then be the earth, the grounding force. Despite his flares of temper, the chimera was the one that grounded the group, causing them to think when they were in danger of flying too high. And it fit, with his stony appearance.

Young Amelia was the stars, surrounding them high in the sky. Their tiny but multiple bright light shining through even the darkest night to share their light and hope.

Which Xelloss supposed made him the darkness of space, the void that separated them.

Xelloss shook his head, dismissing the analogy. He really was spending too much time with the humans if this is where his thoughts lead.
